The Ph.D. Veterinary Anatomy programme is structured to instil research competence in professionals in the field of veterinary anatomy.

VAN 918 Special Problems in Advanced Veterinary Anatomy 2 Credits
A project designed by a candidate aimed at addressing a particular problem in the study of advanced anatomy. 90h (P); C
VAN 920 Seminar I 1 Credit
Seminar/presentation of research proposal by the candidate at the faculty. To be assessed and graded by a panel of examiners during an oral presentation. 45h (P); C
VAN 921 Seminar II 1 Credit
Progress/research finding seminar to be presented by the candidate and assessed and graded by a panel of examiners. 45h (P); C
VAN 922 Seminar III 1 Credit
Progress/research finding seminar to be presented by the candidate and assessed and graded by a panel of examiners. 45h (P); C
VAN 999 Thesis 24 Credits
Production of thesis on the original investigation under the supervision of supervisors and examined by a panel of examiners, including an external examiner. 1080h (P); C
To be awarded the Ph.D. degree in Veterinary Anatomy, candidates shall be required to have taken and passed all core courses with a minimum score of 60%. A minimum of 29 credits is required for graduation, including a research thesis. However, candidates found deficient in some courses required for their research work and general knowledge would have courses prescribed for him/her from M.Sc. Veterinary Anatomy programme by the supervisory team. Candidates without such deficiencies must fulfil the following requirements before graduation:
