B. Introduction
The programme is the highest academic qualification in Business Administration designed primarily to expose candidates to conduct independent research in Business Administration. The programme is designed to train candidates to fit into any academic or research based institutions in the country or globally.
C. Philosophy
The philosophy of the programme is the development of highly skilled and globally competitive academic researchers in tertiary institutions as well as for the private, public and international organisations. The Programme is designed to enhance the candidates‘ skills as it is devoted to both advanced theoretical studies and practical analysis.

Graduation Requirements
Candidates must have taken and passed 33 Credits of compulsory courses and 6 Credits of elective courses with a score of not less than 50%. Candidates must have also presented and defended the protocol, two seminars and post field internal defence to the satisfaction of a panel of internal
examiners. The final thesis shall be assessed and found satisfactory for the award of Ph.D. degree by panel of four (4) including an external examiner.
