The philosophy of the Ph.D. degree programme in Anatomy is the provision of advanced training of highly skilled and globally competitive professionals in the anatomical sciences, as well as to promote critical, analytical and creative skills relating to biomedical research.

For the award of the Doctor of Philosophy Degree in Anatomy, a candidate must have audited the prescribed courses, and submitted a thesis based on the preceding research protocol. The provisions of the Postgraduate School shall apply in the assessment of the research protocol and oral examination of the thesis.
